  • and learning agility

What Do our Leadership Development Members Learn?

Once you join SHVA Leadership Advisers on our leadership development journey, you unite with an elite group of heroes.

Our leadership programs give you the tools to:

  • Bridge the gap between senior management and the employees.
  • Lead and inspire across organizational or geographical boundaries.
  • Learn the art of collaboration.
  • Manage stress, leverage the power of all your archetypes, and bring the whole person to bear.
  • Build a network of supportive leaders to continue development.

Our development courses are for mid-to-senior level leaders who lead other managers. However, anyone may attend that desires to move into those positions.

If you are looking to change or improve your career, check out our career coaching and standalone résumé services.

To help further your leadership development, we have a library of leadership and coaching book reviews and an extensive selection of articles on leadership and coaching.

What About Ecclesiastical Leadership Development?

We also offer specialized leadership development courses explicitly designed for clergy and lay-ministry members to aid in:

  • recruiting members and volunteers to build a thriving church
  • increasing donations and doing more with less
  • facilitating church administration meetings for maximum time and effect (we can even facilitate and mediate tough clergy-member meetings)
  • Assess, manage, and change church culture (we like to think because it is a church, the culture is one of forgiveness, love, and innovation, however, that is not always the case)

Why Choose SHVA’s Leadership Development Programs?

Change Management

Changes in the marketplace, employee turnover, company growth, and countless other factors contribute to ongoing changes. Leaders must be prepared to shepherd organizations through the changes. Leaders need the training to manage change before it happens. Change management training is vital to leadership development. Our programs ensure leaders harness the power of vision, provide strong leadership during any season, and capitalize on improving performance.

Culture Drives Innovation

Organizations must take control of the opportunity presented for cultural development. Without an influential culture, the potential exists for distinct workgroups and leadership circles to form cliques. To create a sense of pride in your organization and inhibit clique formation, leaders must act decisively to create an influential culture. Corporate values are crucial to culture.

To build a culture of innovation, all employees must feel some sense of ownership and pride in the organization. Pride and ownership feelings stem from the values and culture of the organization. An innovative culture allows employees to think and develop ways to overcome obstacles. We use a series of assessments and personal interviews to determine where your organization’s culture is and where you want it to be. Then we provide you a detailed roadmap to reach the desired culture destination.

Leadership Development Coaching Does More Than Teach Leadership

Scholarly studies suggest that leadership development coaching makes a positive contribution to:

  • leadership recruitment and retention
  • stronger corporate working
  • securing more complex contracts,
  • better risk management, and
  • bolsters leaders when they face new and complex challenges
