Who we are
Our website address is: https://shvaleadership.com. SHVA Leadership Advisers, LLC is operated from Rockwall, TX, USA. Our mission is to eradicate fear and self-doubt.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The data we collect may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.
All active client personal sensitive data collected will be maintained on file for at least three years after the client’s change to inactive status. This is required by several of the Coach certifying agencies and/or organizations. After a client is in inactive status for 4 years, the client’s data will be deleted from our systems. All data collected by SHVA Leadership Advisers, LLC will be collected by written consent of the client.
Personal data is not just created by a user’s interactions with your site. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third party embeds.
By default WordPress and SHVAleadership.com does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However some of your plugins may collect personal data. We currently do not use any plugins that collect visitor data.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We use contact forms on the website. We keep contact form submissions for up to two years for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes. We do not sell client or customer information to third-party marketing or vendor services.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behave in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
By default SHVA Leadership Advisers, LLC and SHVAleadership.com does not collect any analytics data. However, many web hosting accounts collect some anonymous analytics data. We currently do not have any plugins installed that collect analytics data. Our website uses Google Analytics for search engine optimization. Who we share your data with
We use CoachAccountable.com for our scheduling and client data retention database. The CoachAccountable.com privacy policy is located at URL – https://www.coachaccountable.com/privacy. We use Stripe.com for payment processing. The Stripe.com privacy policy is located at URL – https://stripe.com/privacy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
European data protection law requires data about European residents which is transferred outside the European Union to be safeguarded to the same standards as if the data was in Europe. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

It is hosted in a 24/7 secure, access controlled data center by Namecheap Hosting.

Our security team rapidly investigates all reported security issues. If you believe you’ve discovered a bug in SHVA’s security, please get in touch at [email protected]. We will respond as quickly as possible to your report. We request that you not publicly disclose the issue until it has been addressed by SHVA.
What third parties we receive data from
We receive user data from CoachAccountable.com and user payment data from Stripe.com. We do not purchase user data of any kind from third-party vendors or merchants. The only user data SHVA Leadership obtains is the data our clients freely disclose to us.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
We do use any data profiling or automated decision making algorithms. All of our decisions are made by real life people.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
Professional coaching is not regulated by any industry standards. However, we are certified by various certifying agencies and organizations. We do not disclose any client data to our certifying agencies without the express written permission of the client(s) involved.
